Essay

The dissertational research deals with the problem of formation of media competence of future computer science teachers at pedagogical universities. The thesis outlines the theoretical foundations of media competence formation of future teachers. The problems of formation of media competence of future computer science teachers are studied. According to the analysis and taking into account the position of the competence-based, the activity-based and system approaches the model of media competence formation of future computer science teachers is developed and experimentally validated. The corresponding content, methods, means and forms of formation of media competence based on the established model are substantiated.
