Kurinenko G. Rearing of peled (Coregonus peled Gmelin, 1788) using different technologies in conditions of fish farms of Ukraine

The dissertation work is devoted to the study of the biological peculiarities of a new species for Ukrainian inland water bodies, a representative of coregonid family - peled, and development of background technologies for its cultivation in the conditions of pond and industrial fish farms of Ukraine. The performed studies demonstrated that abiotic and biotic conditions of fish farms of Northern and Western Ukraine meet the biological requirements of peled for its successful cultivation as a valuable object of aquaculture. For the first time in Ukraine, a technology was developed for one-year rearing of peled to marketable weight in monoculture and use of the multiple age groups of peled as objects for polyculture, as well as a brood stock of age-3 fish was formed based on pond and tank technologies with the use of artificial feeds. Based on length-weight indices, condition factor, fecundity, age-3 peled reared in the conditions of Ukraine are not inferior than brood fish from native areas.
