Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of intending engineers-teachers' health-care competence forming in the process of professional training. The state of investigating the abovementioned problem is analysed; the essence of the concept "intending engineers-teachers' health-care competence" is elaborated; its structure is defined as the complex of such components: motivational, cognitive, operational and reflective. The criteria and the indicators are defined as well as the levels of formed competence are characterized. The pedagogical conditions of intending engineers-teachers' health-care competence forming are determined and theoretically grounded. They are as follows: scientific and pedagogical support creating and realizing by means of adding the health-care component to the content of disciplines of professional and practical training cycle and to the program of practice; the need to self-education forming as well as the skills of self-control and professional self-estimating of health-care competence developing; health-care educational environment creating. The pedagogical conditions and the methodics of intending engineers-teachers' health-care competence forming in the process of professional training are experimentally proved.
