Mudrokha V. Scientific and methodical work of V. Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv: historical and functional aspect and innovative features

The historical experience of incipience, functioning and development of scientific and methodical work of Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv are disclosed in the thesis. The periodization of this process is proposed. The complex analysis of basic forms and methods of scientific and methodical activities is being done - 1) analytical activity; 2) composing and processing of different categories of documents (organizational and managerial, instructional and technological documents, methodical recommendations); 3) conducting scientific research on topical library issues; 4) organization and conducting the advance training and retraining of library specialists; 5) the provision of group and individual consultations; 6) the introduction of new information technologies in library work. The technology of preparation and carrying out the attestation is designed. It includes basic stages - preparatory, assessment and final. The author grounds an idea that application of theoretical conclusions and recommendations of dissertation research in practical activity of V. Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv.
