Essay

Object of research – the peculiarities of the processes of growth and development of plants and formation of yielding capacity and grain quality of modern varieties of soft winter wheat depending on weather conditions and the technological methods of growing after different predecessors. The aim of research was to determine the regularities of formation of high yielding capacity and grain quality of modern varieties of soft winter wheat depending on growing conditions and technological methods after different predecessors in Northern Steppe. Methods – field; laboratory; statistical; calculation. Results: Top-dressing of winter wheat sowings after predecessor bare follow with ammonium nitrate (N30-60) or carbamide-ammoniacal mixture (N30) on the background of presowing application P60K30 in the conditions of Northern Steppe provides the obtaining of grain of the second class of quality of varieties Lytanivka and Zamozhnist at yielding capacity within 6.44- 6.74 t/ha. After predecessor summer barley on the background N60R60K30 the highest income provides double top-dressing of winter wheat sowings with ammonium nitrate in a dose N30: early in the spring on the frozen and thawed ground and in the late stage of plant tillering. The varieties Favorytka, Yesaul, Yuvileyna 100 were the most resistant to germination of grain in the ear. Novelty – for the first time was revealed the level of yielding capacity and grain quality of soft winter wheat Lytanivka, Zamozhnist, Antonivka, Sonechko and Rozkishna depending on hydrothermal conditions of growing, top-dressing with nitrogen fertilizer after predecessors bare fallow and summer barley; it was determined the resistance of winter wheat varieties of different ecotypes to germination of grain in the ear and changes of technological grain indexes for these varieties at overmature of crop. Branch - agriculture.
