The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the formation of ecological culture of the future environmental technicians in the vocational training in colleges. The content of ecological culture of the future environmental technicians and its structural components are determined; analyzes the basic concepts of research are analyzed; scientific approaches to this problem are outlined. The model and the technology of ecological culture of the future environmental technicians in the training in colleges are scientifically substantiated and tested, through the introduction of appropriate educational conditions, the implementation of which will promote the formation of ecological culture. Developed training and methodological support for formation of ecological culture of the future environmental technicians in the vocational training in colleges is developed. The course "Basics of environmental education and culture" is introduced in to the pedagogical practiсe.
