Essay

The object of the research is a studying process of outplot elements of Ukrainian epic literature in senior classes of comprehensive school. The subject of the research is the methodological model of processing outplot elements in an epic work at the Ukrainian literature classes in the 10th - 11th forms of comprehensive school, peculiarities of its use and its efficiency. The methods are theoretical, empirical, statistical data processing. The scientific novelty of the research is that the methodological system of studying outplot elements of an epic work at the Ukrainian literature classes in senior school has been first worked out, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested; the criteria and levels of students' skills to analyze outplot elements have been defined; the determinants of emergence and entrenchment of the notion of "outplot elements" have been found; the subordination of these elements to the belletristic work's basic categorial qualities has been ascertained: anthropocentrism, temporality and spatiality, conceptuality. Practical value of the received results lies in elaborating of anthropocentric, chronotope and conceptual kinds of analysis and the system of forms, methods, devices, educational questions and tasks, aimed at improving theoretical level and practical training of senior students for the work with outplot elements, enhance the efficiency of the outplot elements studying process. The level of implementation is high. The sphere (the brunch of use) is pedagogical, comprehensive educational establishments.
