Benedyk Y. Organizational and Legal Mechanism of International Cooperation in the Field of Renewable Sources Use.

The thesis is devoted to the research of evolution and particularities of the organizational and legal mechanism of international cooperation in the field of renewable energy, determination of legal status of some universal and regional organizations in the relevant sphere, as well as implementation of the international and the EU legal norms to the Ukrainian domestic legislation. It is proved that the development of international and legal cooperation in renewable energy field took place in the three main directions: environmental protection, economics and energetics. The concept of sustainable development stimulates international legal cooperation in this sphere. The structure of the organizational and legal mechanism of international cooperation in the field of renewable energy has been identified as a multi-elemented and multi-leveled system, which consists of international intergovernmental organizations, their bodies, special institutions and so-called "sub-element", which covers plenty of non-governmental organizations, movements, associations of scientists etc.
