Essay

The thesis is devoted to complex research of international legal regulation of peacekeeping to maintain international peace, security and law enforcement, and analysis of international legal features of different mechanisms of peacemaking. Historical and methodological background of the establishment of peacekeeping and as a category of international law are considered in the article. Specific features of each of the international legal form of peacemaking is analyzed in the article - preventive diplomacy, promoting peace, maintaining the peace, peacebuilding, coercion to peace.
