Essay

The thesis is dedicated to research of the effect of the level and ratio of relative tension on the energy-power and kinematic parameters of the process of cold strip rolling and development of energy-saving modes of cold rolling with a rational ratio of tensions. Theoretically determined influence of the technological parameters (strip thickness, reduction and strain hardening of strip, friction coefficient and the radius of work rolls) and ratio relative back and front tension on the energy efficiency of the process of cold rolling taking into account of elastoplastic characteristics interaction metal rolls. Based on these data provided a method for calculating the energy-saving modes tension on continuous and reversible cold rolling mills. The proposed method became the basis of the developed methods with rolling tension to the continuous and reversing mills that reduce specific energy consumption in the production of cold-rolled strip. The results are used in the industry and the educational process.
