In the thesis the problem of customs specialists' professional training within psychological and pedagogical researches has been analyzed; the international influence of higher customs education on professional training of customs specialists in the context of integration processes development has been studied; European requirements to professional training and competency of customs specialists have been revealed. The theoretical approaches to the interpretation of future customs specialists' professional training, namely, competency-based, functional, instrumental, personality-oriented, axiological, historical, systems-based, complex and pragmatic, have been singled out and considered.
