The thesis is devoted to the topical problem of higher education pedagogy - forming health-saving competency of future officers of the National Guard of Ukraine in the process of professional training. The author's definition of the concept "health-saving competency of future officers of the National Guard of Ukraine" has been formulated. The components of health-saving competency, namely, motivational, cognitive, activity-based, personal, have been defined. According to the components, the criteria, indexes and levels (low, middle and high) of health-saving competency formation of future officers of the National Guard of Ukraine have been specified.
