In the dissertation the main stages of the development of the concept, legal nature and carried out a comparative study of legal temporary access to the things and documents under the legislation of Ukraine and foreign countries. Analyzed the base application, the procedural status of the subjects, procedural documents of this measure, as well as objects and documents to which access is prohibited. Defined control function on the part of prosecutors and the court at the time of application of the measures to ensure the criminal proceedings.
