The thesis is devoted to the topical issue of professional training of junior medical specialists; it is a formation of the key competences of the future medical professionals in medical colleges. A concept "the key competence of the junior medical professionals" was specified. The components, the criteria and the levels of formation of key competences of future junior medical specialists were defined. The pedagogical conditions of marked quality were grounded and their efficiency was proved experimentally.
