Essay

A complex medical and social research exposed existing flaws within the system of medical rehabilitation of primary glaucoma patients in Ukraine, specifically its inability to satisfy neither modern industry standards nor actual needs of patients due to a critically low availability of such medical rehabilitation both in ambulatory care clinics and health resorts. The work resulted in producing a scientific rationale for the system of organizing ophthalmological help for adults in Ukraine, namely providing services in medical rehabilitation to primary glaucoma patients, introduction of which proved its high medical, social, and economic efficiency.
