Palkina I. Genre Creation in Rock Art: Interspecific and Intraspecific Interactions

The thesis deals with the concept of "rock art", which is a mid-level of three-tier system "rock culture - rock art - rock music and was given it a definition. Proved that because of integration processes in the rock art and its overall evolution, primary intuitive syncretism was replaced by conscious synthetic, which was a reason of new rock genres creation. Genre creation is defined two levels of processes in rock art that occurs on integrative plane. Interspecies level of integration associated with the processes of interpenetration of various arts. At intraspecific level is the involvement of elements of classical music and world folk music to rock. Based on the analysis Ukrainian rock works was proposed classification of genres of rock art based on the dominance of a particular type of art. Under this classification, sophisticated new genre of rock art invited to consider rock opera, rock concept album and rock performance. Comparative analysis of musical genres, rock opera and rock performances proved their differences, primarily because of different their genesis. The classification concept album like representatives of the cyclic form of rock music. Concept album was differentiated for the composition and level of performance integrity. In this way it is proved that formed integrative processes are factors that contribute to the emergence of new genres of rock art. Determined that the apparent results of rock art is the emergence of updated genres like rock melodic recitation, rock opera, rock concept album and rock performance.
