The dissertation contains an analysis and synthesis of national and international approaches to the understanding of achievement motivation, its types and forms, as well as anxiety and anxiousness. The structure and mechanisms of achievement motivation and anxiety as personality traits are analysed. It provides the definition of "achievement situation", suggests author construct "a complex of achievement" and clarifies the concept of "personal traits of anxiety spectrum". The structure model and empirical study of psychological factors of actualization of personality traits of anxiety spectrum in achievement situation is created. Author developed a diagnostic method to study the form of achievement motivation. It is established that there is a specific structure of situational and personal characteristics - a complex of achievement: the achievement situation, a homogeneous group in terms of skills, a high level of motivation to achieve, high levels of anxiety, infantile or anxious personality types. Personal traits of anxiety spectrum such as emotional discomfort, phobic anxiety and asthenia components, anxious rating prospects, social protection are updated in a person in the achievement situation in a homogeneous group in terms of skills. It can cause an anxiety disorder. The components of the complex of achievement have dispositional traits as they do not vary with time and in external situations, what is proved by a longitudinal sections experiment. Psychological factors of actualization of personality traits of anxiety spectrum in achievement situation are: security and self-actualization needs, infantile personality types, such personality traits as indecision, conservatism, a high level of curiosity in the structure of creativity, the tendency to avoid failure in the structure of achievement motivation and its individual form, a low level of health claims and an overestimated level of claims on the practical aspects of their own activities, a forestall or controlling parenting style in a parent's family, their middle or high income, neutral relations with peers, a low level of social activity and a low level of social adaptability, an older sibling position or the only child in family, traditional family or childhood without parents. A training on the prevention of anxiety manifestations in achievement situations to counter negative psychological factors of actualization of personality traits of anxiety spectrum in achievement situation was developed and tested. It aims to develop self-knowledge, self-acceptance, time management, stress-resistance, motive to achieve success and reduce anxiety. The results were implemented in educational institutions of different types in Kyiv and tested at international conferences, and can be used by psychologists, teachers, educators in their professional activities.
