Object of research: training process of qualified athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling. Tje purpose of the research: to work out and experimentally ground the program of increase of level of the special physical internals and technique-tactical preparedness of qualified athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling taking into account different styles of combat. Methods of research: theoretical analysis and generalization of literary sources; questioning; pedagogical supervisions; analysis of video data of contention activity; pedagogical testing; method of expert estimations; psycho-physiological methods of research; simulation; pedagogical experiment; mathematical and statistical methods. Scientific originality: first: the comparative analysis of features of competition activity of qualified athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling before and after the last updates of rules of competitions is conducted; basic technical actions that are used by fighters of different styles of combat are described and systematized; on the basis of the educed tendencies of change of competition activity of qualified athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling, features and models of competitive activity of fighters of different styles of combat the methodology of individualization of training process of qualified athletes during an annual macrocycle is developed and experimentally approved. Research results are implemented into the study-training process of the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, in practice work of Kharkiv sport school № 9, Mykolaiv sport school № 1, Zhytomyr sport school.
