National strategy of transferring national educational system challenges the development of professional competence the future primary school teachers. The future primary school teacher should be tolerant and be able to work in multicultural society. As a result the forming of multicultural competence becomes necessary component in educational process in pedagogical universities. Multicultural competence of primary school teachers is defined as multi-personal formation of professionally significant quality of personality of primaru school teacher, formed in educational training based on theoretical knowledge about the identity of the national culture of their own and other countries, the transformation of values, integrated multicultural skills which provide tolerance to representatives of other social groups, nationalities, religions during intercultural communication and the ability to solve professional challenges in a globalized multicultural society. Realization of lingual countries study approach in formation of multicultural competence proceeding in using authentic texts, semantic and phraseological analyze, learning information of country character, study the culture of the country. Semantic analyze of idioms contributed the philosophical understanding of human life, moral guidelines and values of different nations. The phraseology reflects the cultural development of people, cultural guidelines and stereotypes encodes cultural information and accumulate knowledge as man himself, its relation to the world. Multicultural competence combines semantic-cognitive, motivational, activity and reflective components which reflect reflects knowledge of features of other nationalities, awareness of the importance of tolerance attitude to foreign cultures and their representatives; orientation of the individual to solve intercultural problems, ability to resist, tolerant attitude to cultural differences, intercultural communication skills developed in the context of multicultural relations, formation of ability to recognize the cultural connotation of words and phraseology of foreign language. Application of innovative methods (internet communication, communicative technologies based on strategy win-win, cross-cultural training, research projects) creates the effectiveness of formation the multicultural competence. The fundamental principles of formation the multicultural competence are: social nature of language, forming positive attitudes to foreign language culture, specific integrity of educational process. Pedagogical conditions of forming multicultural competence of future primary school teachers are creation of multicultural educational environment in context of higher education; unity of purpose and strategy of language training in multicultural context based on lingual countries study approach; application of innovative methods in the process of formation of multicultural competence. The fundamental trends of multicultural competence of primary schoolteachers are identity personality, intercultural perspective of educational process. Experimental work proved the effectiveness of pedagogical model of formation of multicultural competence of primary school teachers.
