The object of the study is physical rehabilitation of the first mature age with lower limb amputations; the purpose of the study is to prove scientific structure and content of the physical rehabilitation program for the first mature age with amputation of the lower limb at the shin area during the post-hospital stage; the methods: theoretical ones: sociological (questionnaire); teaching (observation, experiment); biomedical; psychological; methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: process of physical rehabilitation of the first mature age with amputation of the lower limb level of the shin area which is reasonably and effectively implemented at post-hospital stage; the results: the program of physical rehabilitation of the first mature age with amputation of the lower limb at the shin area during the post-hospital stage; the results of the research have been implemented in activity of specialized prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises "AROL PLUS" (Lviv), and "INVALTRUD LTD" (Uzhgorod), the learning process of students of Drohobych State Pedagogical University named after I. Franko and Lviv State University of Physical Culture, confirmed by acts of implementation; specialization - physical rehabilitation.
