Essay

Object is special physical training in badminton; Aim is to improve speed and strength preparedness of badminton players at the stage of specialized basic training by using the means implemented in variable training modules during speed and strength training; Methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature as well as Internet data; survey via questionnaire; pedagogical observation; pedagogical testing; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics; Novelty: the effectiveness of different training modules means for speed and strength training options and their combinations to improve the preparedness of badminton players at the stage of specialized basic training during macrocycle preparatory period has been scientifically substantiated for the first time; improved speed and training program for badminton players at the stage of specialized basic training using variable training modules has been originally reasoned; Results: the program of speed and strength training and a comprehensive battery of tests for complex monitoring speed and strength training of badminton players at the stage of specialized basic training have been developed; results of the research have been implemented into the training process of teams at specialized children and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in badminton named after K. V. Vavilov and at complex specialized children and youth school of Prydniprovs'ka State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Dnipro), Kharkiv high school of sports and into the curriculum of students of Lviv State University of Physical culture.; Academic subject: physical education and sport.
