Essay

The dissertation presents a differential psychological analysis of the experience of resentment, which is regarded as a systemic multi-level property of the individual and is studied from the point of view of the continual-hierarchical approach. The structural components of sensitivity are explicated, described and empirically studied. To diagnose indices of propensity to experience resentment (touchiness), developed (in co-authorship) an original psychodiagnostic technique. Individual psychological characteristics of persons prone to experiencing resentment of different types are investigated.
