Otuonye J. Creation of the National Cultural Heritage Fund of Nigeria in 1960-1990.

This thesis is devoted to complex research of the formation of the national and cultural fund of Nigerian Creative Intellectuals in the sphere of culture and art. Some components of the national and cultural heritage, forms and methods of their collection and preservation formed under international rights and freedoms have been elaborated based on Ukrainian and foreign historiography. The conditions of the national history of Nigeria that procured the establishment of the National patriotic and cultural movement, the participants of which fought to achieve free growth of culture and democracy for the Nation as part of the African people, have been analysed. The major role in this fight was led by creative elite and Creative Intellectuals, their activity in the social, political, cultural and art life gave rise to the unique National Culture. The analysis of cultural heritage funds has established the national psychological, cultural and ethical and social features of the Nigerian people which was formed throughout its history and has determined the role of the national fund of patriotic culture and art heritage of the 60s-90 s of the 20th century in the formation of Nigeria as a nation and a state.
