The thesis for the first time proposed methodological foundations of performing laboratory course by future teachers of Physics which is focused on deepening knowledge of Physics and formation of experimentation competence. The author devised a model of experimentation competence development according to the structure of laboratory course. For the first time the complex of laboratory works of reproductive and part- exploratory content with elements of heuristics was offered. It provides pedagogical conditions for the development of experimental activity of future teachers of Physics in its functional elements and integrity. There was worked out a methodology of forming experimentation competence according to the conditions of performing laboratory tasks. The author developed creative tasks and tasks-paradoxes that are used to test the readiness of students for works of reproductive and part-exploratory content. A manual "Target oriented laboratory course in methods and techniques of educational physical experiment for the Chapter "Wave Optics"" was introduced. There have been defined criteria for diagnosis of future teachers of Physics experimentation competence development. There have been developed and implemented binary target programs in methods and techniques of educational physics experiment for the Chapters "The electric field and current" and "Wave Optics". These programs define a meaningful component of educational material in personal-activity aspect of its implementation.
