The object - teaching the foundations of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues; the purpose - improvement of the level of professional competence of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues through theoretical study, design and experimental verification of appropriate teaching methods; methods - analysis, generalization, modeling, structural and genetic synthesis, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation, survey, mathematical statistics; novelty - for the first time proved theoretically developed and experimentally tested methods of teaching the foundations of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues, which are constructed on the basis of the computerized training simulators and the model of integrated learning content, which provides improvement level of formation of professional competence of energy and resource saving, the model of integrated learning content the foundations of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues, developed on the basis of the basic processes of integration of energy and resource saving (mechanical, hydro-gas-dynamical, thermal and electrical) energy technological processes and sectoral regulatory and legal support, the teaching of which is determined by industry specializations of future engineers-pedagogues (mechanical, electrical, chemical and technological), improved learning tools of the foundations of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues, improvement is to develop computerized training simulators that simulate the integrated mechanical hydro-gas-dynamical, thermal and electrical processes to solve practical problems of energy and resource saving; results - developed methods of teaching the foundations of energy and resource saving of future engineers-pedagogues, textbook "Foundations of energy and resource saving", computerized training simulators; implemented to the educational process of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, The National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy; field - vocational education.
