Essay

The new solution of the urgent problem of the development of research competence in teachers of Math in postgraduate pedagogical education is presented in the thesis. This solution found its reflection in theoretical substantiation, research and implementation of the model of development of research competence in teachers of Math by means of informational-communicative technologies. Organization-pedagogical conditions of increase of efficiency of the mentioned model are determined. Analysis of scientific works made by the domestic and foreign scientists gave the possibility to state that the problem of development of research competence in teachers is one of the priority tasks of postgraduate pedagogical education in the conditions of entry into the European educational space. The author specifies the essence of the basic concept of a launched research - "research competence in teacher of Math". This concept is reviewed by the author of thesis as "an integrative quality of the pedagogue, what characterizes by the motivation and valuable attitude of a teacher towards research activities; expedient system of knowledge, skills and experience, personal qualities and all these are reflected in the readiness and ability to accomplish personal research activity to improve the increase of the quality of mathematical education in pupils." The thesis highlights the structural components of research competence in teachers of Math: cognitive, motivational-valuable, reflective and personal, practical and active. Taking into account the views of scientific works on the problem of informatization of education potential possibilities of informative-communicative technologies for the development of research competence in teachers of Math are investigated. The analysis of the websites of region institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education is made. In the thesis it is found out that these websites do not contain effective virtual forms of methodical work that is why almost do not solve the problem of development of research competence in teachers of Math. The criteria of development of research competence (cognitive, motivational-valuable, reflective and personal, practical and active), indicators of their manifestation and levels of development in teachers of Math (high, sufficient and low) are defined. Theoretical backgrounds are given and the model of development of research competence in teachers of Math by means of informative-communicative technologies are set up. It contains target, organizational and substantial, operational and technological, estimative and productive blocks. The effectiveness of the given model of development of research competence in teachers of Math by means of ICT is checked during the formational stage of the experiment. Its effectiveness is ensured by defined organizational-pedagogical conditions, namely creation and coordination of the website "Virtual school of teacher-researcher"; development of remote special course "Learn to implement pedagogical research"; usage of electronic pedagogical portfolio as the form of self presentation of results of research activities of teachers of Math. For the development in teachers of Math the researched phenomenon designed website "Virtual school of teacher-researcher" was used. It contained such sections: "Digest of useful scientific ideas", "Treasury of advanced pedagogical experience of teachers of Math", "Treasury of useful ideas", "Remote special course "Learn to implement pedagogical research", "Pedagogical portfolio of the teacher of Math", "Presentation of achievements", "Express-questioner", "You ask - we answer", "Forum of the teacher-researcher". Offered for teachers of experimental group remote special course "Learn to implement pedagogical research" not only made their knowledge of theoretical basis of research activities more proficient, but also contained practical, creative tasks, test questions, electronic testing. This promoted the development in teachers of Math skills of self control, reflective possibilities and stimulated them for the implementation of their own research activities. In the thesis the features of creation and the content of sections of pedagogical portfolio are determined. This helped in the development and presentation of personal electronic portfolio of teachers of Math in the experimental group. On the forum of the website the possibility of teachers' discussion of the created electric portfolio is provided. Discovered during scientific research methodical recommendations as for the development researched phenomenon by means of ICT promoted more effective usage by teachers of Math of experimental group informational-communicative technologies for the development of personal research competence.
