The thesis is devoted to the problem of the formation of prospective foreign language teacher's reflective culture in the process of professional development. The current state of the problem is reviewed in the educational theory and practice. The basic notions of the research are specified. The place of the reflective сomponent in the system of teacher education is defined. Pedagogical techniques aimed at the formation of prospective foreign language teacher's reflective culture are selected. The criteria and indicators of the level of the reflective culture formation are defined. The model of the formation of prospective foreign language teacher's reflective culture in the process of professional development is elaborated, its efficiency is proven experimentally on the basis of its implementation into the educational process of higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
