Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving the scientific problem of forming the rhetorical competence of intending professionals in socionomical specialties. The state of the researched problem was analysed; theoretical and methodological bases of forming the rhetorical competence of intending professionals in socionomical specialties were grounded. The content and structure of intending professionals in socionomical specialties' rhetorical competence were determined. The criteria, indicators, levels of the rhetorical competence and diagnostic tools were worked out. The pedagogical conditions of forming the researched personal quality were revealed, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested. Among them are the anthropocentrism of training in terms of interaction between "teacher - student", "student - student" at higher pedagogical educational institutions; the integrity of the rhetorical training based on interdisciplinary connections and introducing the specialised course "Practical Rhetoric"; creating rhetorical educational space. The model of forming the rhetorical competence of intending professionals in socionomical specialties was developed.
