Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving a topical scientific and practical task – efficient use of logging waste through their use as a wood component obtained by crushing for an engineered composite material. Physical and mechanical properties of material obtained from weavings of various fractions with different orientation of fibers and based on different types of binders were experimentally determined. The research described above has enabled substantiation of structure of the proposed composite wood-based panels and confirmed prospects for their future use as an alternative for oriented strand boards. A rheological model of multilayer wood-composite material was developed and based on simulation modeling a rational mode of pressing material from crushed branches were developed. The proposed pressing mode provides the lowest possible residual deformation after the pressing process and stability of form of the composite wood-based panels. Results of the research are being implemented as technological regulations for manufacture of the composite wood-based panels. The technological regulations are approved for implementation on two enterprises.
