The relevance of the problem of lawyers’ training in the national and foreign theory of higher education has been investigated, that allowing to confirm the expediency of justification for the conceptual foundations formation of professional-and-legal communication culture and to offer a definition of the key concept of the research – "professional-and-legal communication". The peculiarities of professional interaction of lawyers depending on the specifics of legal practice have been identified. The structure of the professional-and-legal communication culture of future lawyers has been identified and justified, which consists of motivational-value-based, communicative, ethical-behavioral and reflexive components. They are interlinked and through purposeful use in the educational process can have a positive impact the formation of the professional-and-legal communication culture of future lawyers. The necessity of applying communicative, personаlity-centered, competency-based, activity-based and axiological approaches to the process of professional-and-legal communication culture formation of future lawyers in the process of professional training has been proved. Axiological-value-based, knowledge-activity-based, ethical-behavioral and reflexive criteria with indices for identification the levels of the formation professional-and-legal communication culture of future lawyers in the process of their professional training have been established.The pedagogical conditions for the successful formation of professional-and legal-communication culture of future lawyers in the process of their professional training have been revealed. The model of professional-and-legal communication culture formation of future lawyers in the process of their professional training given the current needs of society has been proved theoretically and field-tested. The content of the future lawyers’ professional training has been improved by strengthening its communicative component; methodical support for the formation of professional-and-legal communication culture of future lawyers in the process of acquisition the specialty taking into account the specifics of their professional training content and the requirements of the Concept of legal education.
