The thesis is a monographic study of the use of special knowledge in the form of judicial review in administrative proceedings of Ukraine. In the thesis, shows the Genesis of scientific study of the problems of using special knowledge in administrative proceedings. Examined and defined the concept of "special knowledge", "expert", "specialist", "forensics" in administrative proceedings; their legal regulation; types of forensic examinations that are assigned in administrative proceedings; normative regulation shows the evaluation criteria of the expert's report and its probative value in administrative proceedings, the assistance of a specialist and interrogation of the forensic expert to clarify the expert report (article 148 CASS, article 356 of the criminal procedure code of Ukraine); forensic security proceedings of foreign countries.
