Opanasiuk O. Evolution of institutions, forms and methods of contemporary diplomacy.

The thesis is devoted to the evolution of institutions, forms and methods of modern diplomacy. The paper explores the directions of adaptation of diplomatic services to the requirements of modern world through the prism of studying the experience of leading states in reforming their diplomatic services and summarizing the main trends of modern practice. It is evident that the institutions of the diplomatic service qualitatively transform under the influence of rapid changes in international life, they enrich and expand the forms and methods of diplomacy; the functions of diplomacy become more complex, comprehensive and active cooperation with non-state actors is expected. At the same time, new trends in international relations show that a professional diplomat in the near future will remain necessary to ensure the format of bilateral relations in a host country with growing requirements for a diplomat.
