Boiko O. Professional training in Social Work at the third cycle of higher education in Great Britain

Factors and specific features for creation, organization and development of doctoral programs in Social Work in Great Britain are identified, and, based on the above, the conceptual framework for the professional training in Social Work at the third cycle of higher education in Ukraine is developed and theoretically grounded. Key factors that contributed to the development of the third cycle of higher education in Social Work in Great Britain are identified as well as the specific features of its development are characterized; key types, characteristics and content of modern research training of social work professionals are identified along with the sources shaping the content of national doctoral programs in Social Work in Great Britain. The conceptual framework for the professional training in Social Work at the third cycle of higher education in Ukraine is developed and theoretically grounded, specifically, horizontal differentiation of degrees based on the content orientation of training and on the form of the obtaining degree etc.
