The object of the research is the process of measuring the parameters of energy loading of friction pairs of car brake mechanisms when braking. The purpose of the study is to improve the accuracy of evaluation of the energy load of friction pairs of car brake mechanisms by improving the methods and ways of testing. The methods of the research: Theoretical and experimental methods of research were used in the work. Theoretical methods: the method of differential and integral calculus, Shewhart method of control charts, methods of the theory of errors. Experimental methods: methods of partial accelerations, methods of electrical measurement of mechanical quantities. The scientific novelty: for the first time on the basis of the established interrelation between the energy parameters of the braking car and the components of the energy balance a new principle of classification of testing equipment has been developed, which made possible improvement of the procedure of car brakes mechanisms certification testing; the benchmark method of certification brake tests of car friction pairs was further developed due to the established interrelation between the parameters of the test object and the loading modes, which made possible development of the requirements to the structure of a universal inertial full-scale stand; the road method of certification tests of car brake mechanism has been improved by measuring the part of energy that is directly absorbed by them and the developed registration and measuring system, which made possible the increase of reliability measuring friction of friction pairs. The degree of implementation: the results of the research are implemented at enterprises that verify the compliance of wheeled vehicles and conduct forensic auto-technical examinations, and in the training process of bachelors, undergraduates and graduate students in KhNAHU. The scope of application: the main effect of the implementation of the developed measures will improve the quality of vehicle testing concerning braking efficiency.
