Mishyn M. Improving of skills when handling a wheelchair as the basis of competitive activity of basketball players with musculoskeletal disorder

Object of study: the process of training and competitive activity in the wheelchair basketball. Aim of study: to develop and prove experimentally the improvement in mastering technology of sports wheelchair by basketball players with the violation of the locomotor system. Research methods. For the set tasks the following methods were used: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, teaching observation, analysis of videos, technical registering and logging of games, educational testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of the mathematical statistics. Scientific novelty of the results is that for the first time: identified the specific factors that influence the effectiveness of the training in wheelchairs basketball; defined the specifications of the basketball wheelchairs used by the players of different functional classes; defined the features of the implementation of technical and tactical activity of the players of different functional classes in the competitive activity; formed the classification of technology movement in basketball wheelchair; worked out the program that promotes the improvement of technology mastering by basketball wheelchair, taking into account the skill of athletes. Results of the study were implemented to the training process by Kharkiv Basketball Club wheelchair invalids of "Kharkiv Basket"; to Ukraine national team of the wheelchair basketball in preparation for the European Championship (2013); to Public association "Rehabilitation and Disabled Sports Club", to Minsk (Belarus) in preparation for the championship in the Republic of Belarus (2012) and in preparation for the international tournament (2013); to municipal institution "Kharkiv regional center of physical culture and sports for the disabled" Invasport "Kharkiv regional council.
