Chipko M. International Legal Regulation of States Cooperation in the field of renewable energy use

The thesis is devoted to the international legal regulation of cooperation between states in the field of renewable energy use. The systematization of the stages of the formation of interstate cooperation in the field of renewable energy use is proposed. The expediency of development and adoption of a separate agreement with environmental goods is substantiated, so as to promote renewable energy technologies. It is proved that the system of global management of energy trade is facilitated to promote the manageability and predictability of energy flows. Three versions of the interpretation of the current provisions of WTO Law have been proposed paying special attention for the efficiency of renewable subsidies. It is reasonable that the interpretation of the relationship between the provisions of the GATT and the Agreement on subsidies and compensation measures may apply the exception to the subject matter of regulation of the Agreement on subsidies and compensation measures.
