Essay

Object of the study: the system of pedagogical education in Germany. Subject of the study: vocational training of teachers of economic disciplines for vocational education institutions in higher educational institutions of Germany.In the thesis the theoretical basics of vocational teachers of economics in modern pedagogical theory and practice are researched. The research also explores the peculiarities and tendencies of the world vocational teacher training systems. It is discovered that professionalization, individualization and electiveness are characteristic features to the majority of world vocational teacher training systems. The widely used approaches in economics teacher training are practice-oriented and competency-based approaches. The primary tendencies of vocational teacher training at German universities are also discussed in the thesis; continuity, practical orientation, standardization of vocational teacher training belong to them.
