Оbject of the study: vocational training of future skilled workers. Subject of the study: pedagogical conditions for the formation of energy-efficient competence of future skilled workers in the machine building profile in vocational and technical schools (exemplified by the profession of a fitter-electrician in the repair of electrical equipment). The essence of the concept "energy efficient competence of machine-building profile skilled workers" is specified in the thesis. It is a dynamic combination of knowledge, skills, practical skills, experience, professionally important qualities and personal values that determines its ability to implement complex professional tasks related to the rational use of energy resources and using energy efficient production technologies, environmentally friendly environment successfully to accomplish their professional tasks. The structure of energy efficient competence of machine-building profile skilled workers covers the interrelated components: value-motivational - awareness of own benefits from economic, social, environmental benefits of energy-efficient professional activities, innovation-cognitive - having the ways of rational use of energy resources in professional activities and their constant improvement according to new energy-efficient technologies, professional-activity - the ability to use energy-efficient technologies in professional activities, reflexively-judgmental - critical re-evaluation of the results of professional activity.
