Essay

The conceptualization of theoretical and methodological approaches to self-consciousness research in philosophical discourse is performed. The actualization of personality problem is analyzed from the historical and philosophical retrospective - from Antic Stoicism and Neo-Platonism to present times. The problem of personality and culture correlation as well as philosophical-anthropological premises of self-consciousness formation are analyzed. The role of nurture in shaping personality's self-consciousness is defined. The philosophical-anthropological and cultural determinants of establishing personality's self-consciousness are discovered. Personal interrelation and interaction are also analyzed. The historical genesis of language perception as a factor of social life-sustaining activity as well as the means of shaping self-consciousness of personality is explained. The philosophical reflection of language functions in society is performed. The contradictions of the language strategies and language practices implementation are defined. The place and role of the Ukrainian language among the main world languages are analyzed. The abilities and conditions for enhancing the effectiveness of practical use of the Ukrainian language during the educational process are discovered.
