The work carried out the philosophical and educational substantiation of the conceptual bases as well as systematization of topical imperatives of training of professionals on innovation activities. The research has been actualized by the need to train professionals on innovation within the framework of a consistent concept that meets the requirements of the time and will ensure the competitiveness of such specialists at the present stage of society's development. The research substantiated the categorical apparatus for researching of the conceptual bases of training of professionals on innovation activity as well as the historical genesis of the origination of innovation as a socio-cultural phenomenon was analyzed at the problem field of training of professionals on innovation activity. Author succeeded in substantiating of the heuristic methodological approaches of research as well as determining the specific place of innovation processes in contemporary socio-cultural dynamics. The concretization of personality-psychological competencies and professional requirements for a specialist in innovation activity was performed, as well as the conceptualization of the peculiarities of the current state of training of innovations specialists in Ukraine and the leading countries of the world. The author examines the experience of cooperation between universities and enterprises and evaluates one's ability to ensure the relevance of the content of education on innovation management. On this basis, it was possible to carry out a futurological assessment of the prospects for the development of national educational programs for the training of professionals in innovation activities, as well as to offer an author's model of training of professionals on innovation basing on comparative analysis of existing educational models of the Ukrainian educational space.
