The paper reveals the role of psychological characteristics and qualities of the individual players in the selection process of the game functions as a team. The necessity of taking into account many aspects of preparedness of the players in the decision on the future gaming specialization. The features of competitive activity of high-end players of various game role model characteristics and developed that allow objectively evaluate the effectiveness of their actions in the game taking into account the residence time on the ice.
