The research is devoted to improving the efficiency of postoperative analgesia after abdominal hysterectomy. The impact of different methods of analgesia on postoperative central and peripheral hemodynamics, respiratory function, functional activity of autonomic nervous system, hormonal and metabolic status were investigated in a complex study. It was proved, that the techniques of prolonged TAP block and epidural analgesia adequately reduce pain after surgery compared to "traditional" methods of postoperative analgesia. Prolonged use of TAP block characterized by stable hemodynamic and respiratory functions compared to the elongated EDA. Systemic administration of opiates and NSAIDs "on demand" provides a moderate control level of postoperative pain at rest and is not sufficient for full activation of patients. Prolonged TAP block administration accompanies by a decreased risks of postoperative complications. The advantage of TAP block unlike EDA is motor block absence which improves patients early activation. The results allowed to scientifically prove the necessity of prolonged TAP block administration for postoperative pain management to improve the surgery results.
