Essay

The thesis is devoted to a complex research of the local peculiarities of the development of traditional and everyday culture of the village of Bekhy in Zhytomyr in the end of XIX - first half of the twentieth century. Considered key areas of local monographs on the micro level in the national ethnology. Historiography analyzed to study the problem and status of sources. Reveals the historical and geographical, social and political features of the settlement of the studied village. The characteristic features of the types of housing and building village Bekhy . Investigated the operation and transformation of traditional industries (agriculture, stockbreeding, beekeeping, gathering, and fishing mystlyvstva) traced the features of the diet of rural population. Confirmed that people's clothing appeared mouthpiece identity neighbouring gentry, reconstructed the traditional women's and men's suits. The specific features of carpet weaving behiv, describes significant features rugs.
