The dissertation is devoted to the formation of information and communication skills in future doctors in the higher medical education setting. The place and role of general cycle subjects in training future doctors, taking into account the specific nature of their profession. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of information and communication competencies in future doctors have been defined. The structural and functional model for the formation of information and communication skills in future doctors has been developed and scientifically substantiated, including goal-oriented, content and technological, evaluative and resultative units.
