Essay

The dissertation presents a comprehensive study of the folk clothing of the Ukrainian people from the right bank of the Middle Dnieper Region in late XIXth - early XXIst century. This dissertation is based on the published sources of literature and field research of the author. It traces the transformation of traditional folk dress from the middle of the XX - XXI century. It also analyses a variety of complex outfits in the Middle Dnieper right bank. This analysis is based on the basic typology, classification, and localization of national clothing commonly singled out regional, regional-local, isolated and sporadic traits phenomenon.
