Analyzed qualitative and quantitative characteristics of foreign trade cooperation between Ukraine and East Asia countries. Determined level and intensity of foreign trade cooperation between Ukraine and East Asia countries. Outlined the potential for deepening of foreign trade cooperation between specified countries on the basis of system-structural assessment. Proposed supplemented interpretation of "geo-economics" concept. Proved necessity of developing new effective geoeconomic strategy of Ukraine for optimization of foreign economic activity. Proposed organizational and economic mechanisms of strengthening Ukraine competitiveness in East Asian countries markets. Proposed certain positive and negative effects from participation of Ukraine in partly led by China project “One belt, one road”. Determined certain positive and negative effects from participation of Ukraine in project “One belt, one road”, which is proposed by People's Republic of China.
