Kostiuchenko N. Influence of ECB policy on employment in Euro¬pean Union during debt crisis.

The influence of interest rate and inflation on unemployment in EU countries was analyzed. The analysis was based on regression models constructed using the OLS method. A comparative analysis of the balance of payments of the countries of Southern Europe in 2009 and 2014 was carried out, the efficiency of the monetary policy of the European Central Bank in recent years was evaluated. Alternative ways of increasing the efficiency of EU monetary policy for national economies were identified. The analysis of prospects for joining monetary union for new members during the crisis was carried out.The empirical analysis of the trend of public confidence in the ECB was carried out, the impact of inflation on it and the level of unemployment were analyzed. The prospects for overcoming unemployment in Ukraine with the use of ECB monetary policy tools were analyzed and relevant recommendations were formulated.
