The age and gender characteristics of the space-time parameters of human gait have been studied and the directions and dependencies of their changes have been de-termined in the context of additional motor and cognitive tasks. Researches of the gait parameters were carried out by the high-quality automated electronic walkway system GAITRite®, production of the USA, which allows in real time to quantify the parameters of human gait. It was found that while walking at a free pace in older age groups, to maintain gait stability and maintain equilibrium, lengthening the support time and shortening the steps. The direction of changes in the space-time parameters of gait while performing a motor task and gait with the performance of a cognitive task has been studied. It is established that the additional motor task changes most of the spatial parameters of gait and practically does not change the time indices, while the additional cognitive task on the contrary changes most of the time indices and practically does not change the spatial indices. The most stable parameter of gait is determined - the width of the 24 support base, which did not change additional gait tasks. It has been proven that the decrease in the walking quality index (FAP) when addi-tional tasks are being drawn indicates a decrease in the level of balance maintenance and stability of the body during the movement and an increase in the risk of falls. Keywords: spatial and temporal parameters of gait, different ages, different genders, random gait, gait with an additional cognitive task, gait with an additional motor task.
