Essay

The thesis is a systemic scientific research study based on the complex analysis of historiography, source basis and methodological tools that discover scientific activities of L.D. Yurchak, Doctor of Agricultural Science (1937-2010), a scientist who greatly contributed the development of domestic allelopathy. In her studies, she focused on environmental bases of chemical interaction between plants (allelopathy) in various types of phytocenoses: she determined the role of microorganisms from soil fatigue in legume, flower, fruit, forage, and aromatic crops, which is relevant to ensure increase of soil fertility and greater high-quality plant product yield.
