Thesis is dedicated to the methodological problem of teaching economic component in the content of the school course of History of Ukraine for the 8-9th forms. There were analyzed and improved the basic notions, as well as the main approaches to teaching economic component in the content of the school history in domestic methodological tradition were characterized, main normative and methodological requirements in the process of teaching economic history of Ukraine for the 8-9th forms were represented. There was proved the author's methodological model of teaching History of Ukraine, as well as the special features of experimental methods of teaching were characterized, the sequence and results of experimental teaching were described. Key words: content of school historical education, economic component of the content of History of Ukraine, lesson planning, methods of teaching.
